 Media Work

Since 2016 Claire has worked with the BBC, BBC Radio 4, Channel 4 and Channel 5. She is also a featured presenter on the History Hub YouTube Channel.

Claire was a featured contributor for the BBC’s ‘Songs of Praise’ discussing the medieval cult of St George in 2016, a featured contributor discussing the 800th anniversary of the Charter of the Forest on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Making History’, and was interviewed for Channel 4’s ‘Bone Detectives: Britain’s Buried Secrets’ and ‘Britain’s Most Historic Towns’. Claire has also been featured on the History Hack podcast and has acted as a historical consultant for Channel 5 on several occasions. In 2019 Claire was asked to participate in the ExpertFile report on ‘Academics and the Media’.

Claire is a featured presenter on the History Hub YouTube channel, which was created as part of the Heritage Lottery Funded Citizens 800 project at Royal Holloway, University of London. A selection of her work can be viewed below and a full playlist can be found here.
